Crescent Italian Sandwich Bake

INGREDIENTS

2 packages crescent recipe creations dough

1 package Cloverdale thin-sliced Tangy Summer Sausage

1 package Cloverdale thin-sliced Ham

1 package sandwich-sliced Pepperoni

1 cup grated provolone cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg

½ cup Italian Dressing

1 tablespoon Parsley, chopped

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Spray a 9×13 glass or porcelain baking dish with cooking spray.  Spread one roll of crescent roll dough across the bottom and up the sides of baking dish.  Place Tangy slices, overlapping each other across dough.  Top with overlapping slices of ham and then pepperoni.  Sprinkle with Provolone cheese and half of Parmesan cheese.

In a pourable measuring cup, beat together egg, Italian dressing and parsley.  Drizzle half of egg mixture on top of cheese.  Press second crescent dough sheet on top of cheese and press sides into bottom crust dough.  Sprinkle with remaining parmesan and drizzle with egg mixture.

Place baking dish in oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until dough is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.  Allow to cool before slicing into sandwiches.

Recipe makes 12 large sandwiches and can be prepared in about one hour.
HINTS:  Other varieties of meat, cheeses and dressings make this an easy-to-please family recipe.  Cut sandwiches in small squares and serve with sandwich picks for a brunch or appetizer.  This recipe makes a great sports event meal and could also be created on the top rack of a grill.
